Synopsis
She Came to Me is a romantic comedy-drama written and directed by Rebecca Miller. The film follows Steven Lauddem (Peter Dinklage), a creatively blocked opera composer struggling to finish his latest work. His wife Patricia (Anne Hathaway), a psychiatrist seeking meaning in her own life, encourages him to find inspiration outside his comfort zone, which leads him to a spontaneous and life-altering encounter with Katrina (Marisa Tomei), an eccentric tugboat captain.
Set in New York City, the film weaves together multiple love stories about art, obsession, and the messy ways people search for fulfilment.
