Synopsis
Trouble is a darkly comic drama about two feuding siblings forced to confront their shared past. When Maggie (Anjelica Huston) discovers her estranged brother Ben (Bill Pullman) attempting to bulldoze part of their late father’s land, a long-simmering family conflict erupts into chaos. As the siblings battle over inheritance, guilt, and the scars of old resentments, their rural standoff becomes both absurd and deeply human. Directed by Theresa Rebeck, the film explores themes of family, pride, and reconciliation with sharp wit and emotional depth.
